I design plumbing products at a brisbane based manufacturing company at part time work. I have had some recent projects there designing toilets for disabled people. One of the criteria is that now public toilets must have a backrest on them. I was developing backrests to add onto the company's range. Lifetec also stocked some of our products at their center. One trouble im having at the moment with disabled standards is that it is obvious that Caroma works in partnership with the people who make the standards. The standards are incredibly hard to adhere to and are very much suited to the ceramic material that Caroma uses.
this is a good image on how i will design my next disabled sink.
Light switches such as these wold be ideal for use in any home and would make turning on the lights easier for anyone.
The company I work for makes many products such as this stainless steel in wall cistern.
So many devices on one toilet!
At the moment I am developing a toilet seat that raises with a spring hinge so that people do no pee on it.
I thought this was cool is it was a mouse and the tracking area was a sliding bar.
Im going to get these clippers for my mothers birthday. they were incredibly easy to use!
